Public Representative Awareness Project:
A Collaboration with the Department of Rural and Community Development

SERI has conducted a pilot project, in conjunction with the Department of Rural and Community Development (DRCD), to raise awareness of social enterprise among public representatives.

 

SERI developed a national and local Social Enterprise Charter for public representatives to sign and commit to supporting social enterprise.

 

The aim of is project was to increase the understanding and knowledge of what social enterprises are and the impact they have in communities across Ireland.
